AuditLume methodology

Last reviewed: 12 August 2026.

Factual rules, scoring and report production.

Public retrieval

The engine requests the URL with time and size limits, blocks non-public networks and revalidates every redirect.

Deterministic signals

It examines initial HTML and public headers using 13 reviewable rules. Each finding retains a code and bounded impact.

Output

The score prioritises improvements; it does not certify compliance. The requested locale is validated, persisted and used for the report, interpretation and PDF.

Optional AI interpretation

For selected authorised domains, AuditLume may request an optional interpretation through an isolated OpenAI service. It receives locale, score, finding codes and impacts; it does not receive the URL or HTML. Output must preserve provenance and pass structural validation. If unavailable or invalid, the report keeps the complete deterministic fallback.
