Clarity and basic SEO: technical signals to begin with
Review title, description and main heading so people and search systems can understand each page more easily.
What the scanner observes
The automated review checks whether the title is present and reasonably descriptive, whether a meta description exists and how many H1 elements appear in initial HTML. These are diagnostic signals, not ranking rules. Useful content, crawling and indexing depend on much more than this short list.
The implemented checks cover title, meta description and H1 in one initial document. They do not audit canonical, sitemap, robots rules, internal links or index status.
AuditLume reads the final public response and initial HTML only; the finding remains a prompt for verification rather than a conclusion about the whole organisation.
A responsible manual review
Automated output is an invitation to investigate, not a verdict. Check representative pages, complete the real user task and include people with different devices or needs. Treat unusual results as context to understand rather than a score to optimise blindly.
- Give every important URL a distinct, purpose-led title.
- Write a concise description that accurately previews the page.
- Use one clear main heading and a logical content outline.
- Read the result as a visitor and remove vague or duplicated wording.
How to prioritise
Review the evidence on the exact public page, record the current state, make one controlled change and check again. Keep screenshots or response details when they help colleagues understand the decision.

Limits to remember
A positive signal does not certify accessibility, privacy, security, legal compliance or search performance. A missing signal does not by itself prove harm. AuditLume reads public responses and initial HTML; specialist, legal and manual reviews remain separate activities.
